Cataneo is excited to welcome 2017 and all that it holds in store!

Already it is shaping up to be a busy year for Cataneo with the acquisition of a number of new clients and a steady schedule of exciting events.

We are excited to introduce AMM (Advertising Media Master) as a new addition to the Cataneo family. Cataneo believes that AMM will streamline the processes between sales houses and agencies, creating operational efficiencies and cost reductions for both.

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show is less than three months away now and Cataneo is excited to be part of it! NAB is one of the most important events in the Broadcast & Entertainment industry and takes place every year in Las Vegas, Nevada. As one of the biggest broadcast and radio conventions in the US, NAB is a great opportunity to connect with companies covering a wide range of media solutions and services and we’re excited to participate.

Cataneo and umwerk founded subsidiary indivisionary

Cataneo GmbH and the creative & digital solutions company umwerk GmbH, also based in Munich, founded indivisionary GmbH. The new company offers solutions in social media, online streaming and ad-management tools. With the innovative solutions provided by indivisionary, Cataneo expand their competence in online, mobile and social media environments.

Cataneo expands international team

Cataneo continues its expansion strategy and the further development of our portfolio for the international market. To pursue this plan, we are expanding our international team with two very experienced people and are pleased to announce that Renato Rocha Pinto and Kirsten Finlayson joined Cataneo. They are both experts in international business development and have proven expertise and experience in both Media and IT.

 

Renato Pinto has joined Cataneo as Head of Business Development. In his new role, he will focus on Cataneo’s growth internationally, overseeing all initiatives to sustainably develop our presence overseas.

Before joining Cataneo, Renato Pinto was based in London working as a Project Manager at NBCUniversal International, responsible for Channel Management and Air Time Sales systems implementations worldwide.

He brings a wealth of experience in multi-cultural environments, focusing on delivering clients’ needs and managing their expectations with an in-depth knowledge of the media business and all related processes. Combining all these aspects and in conjunction with his flexibility, he is able to understand the customers’ requirements, irrespectively of company size, delivering tailor-made and cost effective solutions.

 

Kirsten Finlayson has joined Cataneo as Vice President of International Business Development, based in Los Angeles, USA.  She will be responsible for helping to establish Cataneo’s presence in the International markets.

Prior to Cataneo, Kirsten Finlayson was the Director of Sourcing for all Digital Technology deals at NBCUniversal in Los Angeles.  With a strong focus on technology, she has extensive experience in deal structure, pricing and legal negotiations and has worked for Nike, Freightliner and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

 

Cataneo is proud to have Renato and Kirsten in the team and we are looking forward to pursuing our international expansion strategy with their help.

Integration of Eurosport into MYDAS completed successfully

Starting October 1st 2015, Discovery Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG will broadcast the first commercials booked in MYDAS in the Eurosport German feed.

Eurosport has been part of Discovery Communications Germany since 2014. The ad sales sector was integrated into the existing processes of Discovery during their takeover. Discovery already started booking the first campaigns in MYDAS 5 weeks ago.

The technical integration of Eurosport comprises two MYDAS modules: MYDAS Inventory for the planning and pricing of ad breaks and MYDAS Campaign Management for planning, booking and invoicing all Eurosport TV campaigns.

The sixmonth project was a successful international collaboration between Discovery Germany, Eurosport Paris and Cataneo.
